About SpectrAl
Born from the lack of meaningful ways to use visual space, both digital and physical, came our drive to transform what a single file can be. Our mission is to create augmented reality experiences where one picture can hold many layers of content - text, graphics, audio, even video - revealed simply and intuitively as people need them, while keeping sensitive information out of sight.
Our system comprises of an embedding software, called Spectrum, that allows the user to hide text or images in a cover image in a way that makes it imperceptible to the human eye. The second part of the SpectrAl system is the Spectracle, the receiving device that extracts the hidden data from the cover image upon proper authentication.
