Christopher McVey

Chris contributed to team managment, software development, and project support for the Pinball Revival team. A dedicated backcountry ski enthusiast and former professional arborist, Chris made a transition back to school to study the world of electronics. He is passionate about power electronics, PCB design, and renewable energy.

Sarah Sedlock

Sarah handled troubleshooting, rewiring, and provided their electrical background to modernize the 1980's pinball machine. Inspired by her physicist father, she combines her geography degree and experience as an apprentice electrician to tackle technical challenges. Outside the classroom, Sarah enjoys hiking, exploring, and spending time with her dog.

Ayoub Alafyouni

Ayoub played a major role in the hardware installation, rewiring, labeling, and testing of the pinball machine, ensuring efficient wire management and smooth system operation. Passionate about hands-on projects, he continually sharpens his electronics skills. Outside of his studies, Ayoub volunteers, engages in local activism, and stays fit at the gym.

Samuel Dalla Lana

Sam specialized in circuit and PCB design for the Capstone project, applying his problem-solving skills and technical expertise. After years of leading wildfire crews and exploring Northern communities, he returned to school to pursue electronics. Sam enjoys outdoor adventures, especially visiting hot springs. He is excited to be doing the bridge program to further his education at UVIC.
